Poodles can eat apples. In fact, my standard poodle loves apples. My poodle eats all types of apples: honeycrisp, gala, granny smith, red delicious apples. And apples are safe for poodles to eat. All dogs, in general, can eat apples.

Apples are an excellent source of vitamins A and C, as well as fiber for your dog. They are low in protein and fat, making them the perfect snack for senior dogs.

Watch my poodle eat an apple below. She has a cute habit of taking her apple treats under the dining table every time we give her an apple. I should have cut her apple treats into smaller pieces.

So, before I give my poodle apples to eat, I make sure I take out the apple seeds. Importantly, I also make sure that I cut the apple into smaller pieces to make sure my poodle can easily chew on the apple pieces. Also, I give my poodle apple in moderation because apple contains sugar, and too much sugar is bad for poodles.

My poodle really loves apple. She gets excited every time I eat an apple myself. She always wants a piece of the apple.

It is good to know that apple is as good for me as it is a good for my poodle!
